    At first I didn't think there was that much to this lesson. But, having watched it over and over, all the patterns come out all over the neck AND on every string.     Rusty guitar, you have a way of motivating. Your energy alone . Great lessons. I especially like the major scale in the open position. There are a lot of lessons in minor pentatonic. Little in major pentatonic. Thanks ken from Texas

      I'm on day two , doing this lesson.

      @@rustysguitar1 hey a year ago or so u did a lesson kinda like this, this one u expanded on it, i kinda got away from doing it, but now im glad u did this vid cause im.back using it, lol.tried it with other keys and adding in triads and scales.its all like a puzzle everything is connected 😂

    For me, knowing where the root notes are goes hand in hand with the patterns here. If you know where the root notes are, then the patterns jump out. This is the way I do it.
    It's 2 years of learning from you Rusty, and as with last year, I'm not where I hoped I would be. But for sure my playing is getting better and easier to learn. When I get home I will send something to you... I'm on the road at the moment..... with my guitar of course. Talk to you when I get home. Play it Loud!!

    yes i get the patterns but making music with this theres a ton of patterns but I all ways seem to fall short of playing them in songs Great stuf Rusty

    I understand the pattern but each of those notes are in what keys? I son’t get how the chords fits into what you are doing.

      This lesson is in the key of D major. But this lesson is about making music with the notes in each chord. This simple pattern is connected and works over each chord. Thanks for checking out the video Ken. 👍
