At first I didn't think there was that much to this lesson. But, having watched it over and over, all the patterns come out all over the neck AND on every string. This could be your best lesson yet, Rusty! Thank you so much. Looking forward to more quality lessons in 2025! HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU!
Awesome Pete! That’s exciting! Thank you so much for leaving another comment with this positive feedback. More to come in 2025. Happy new year to you also.👍
Guitar gold again Rusty........brilliant lesson........i can see how this would sound great when you connect them to other triads/ arpeggios as well .......something im going to try later.......as always big thanks.......Paul from Ireland
You are so right, Paul! You can easily combine this technique with so many other rhythm and lead tools! It’s always good to hear from you. I hope you have a wonderful Christmas and new year holiday😎
You have spoiled a ton of us, thank you. As usual and expected another great lesson. For me this is looking like the best way yet to connect the notes to the chord. Thank you for all you do for those of us trying to make music. BEST AND PEACE & MERRY CHRISTMAS
I love the way you show how a simple idea can be so effective. Thanks for all your work this year; it's been a pleasure learning from you. All the best for the new year from the UK.
Thanks so much, Owen! I’m really glad you’re getting something from the lessons! I hope you have a great Christmas and new year holiday season. See you soon, mate. Cheers.👍
Rusty guitar, you have a way of motivating. Your energy alone . Great lessons. I especially like the major scale in the open position. There are a lot of lessons in minor pentatonic. Little in major pentatonic. Thanks ken from Texas
I’m happy to hear that my brother! We are both going to progress a lot in 2025! I hope you have a great Christmas and happy new year holiday. Thanks for all your support.👍
Hi Rusty, another good one that can be added to, I like the sound of Bmaj here with the change to G,it made me smile 😊 thanks again for these snippets of great information on the guitar and playing it with warmth and attention on the fretboard, makes me want to pick up my own guitar and learn something, these are perfect for that, even though it is 04:02 am here in Scotland 😂 ❤ hope you had a good Xmas day to Rusty and another peace be with you bro .🌈
Thank you Alan! I really do appreciate your continued support! Greetings from Chicago. I hope you have a wonderful new year holiday my brother. See you soon.👍
I'm on day two , doing this lesson. I can see how a few weeks in, and adding other lessons, my sound will greatly improve as day two already exhibits interesting new sounds.
@@rustysguitar1 hey a year ago or so u did a lesson kinda like this, this one u expanded on it, i kinda got away from doing it, but now im glad u did this vid cause im.back using it, lol.tried it with other keys and adding in triads and scales.its all like a puzzle everything is connected 😂
For me, knowing where the root notes are goes hand in hand with the patterns here. If you know where the root notes are, then the patterns jump out. This is the way I do it. It's 2 years of learning from you Rusty, and as with last year, I'm not where I hoped I would be. But for sure my playing is getting better and easier to learn. When I get home I will send something to you... I'm on the road at the moment..... with my guitar of course. Talk to you when I get home. Play it Loud!!
It’s good to hear from you, Neil! Well said about the root note! It sounds like you’re moving forward, my friend. Let’s keep rockin this stuff together. Thanks, and I hope you have a great Christmas and new year holiday. See you soon, brother👍
Fantastic lesson Rusty 👍🏻 will have a good go later, I love using patterns as they stick in my head 😜 thanks my friend. You and your family have a wonderful Christmas time 👍🏻🏴🎸
Thanks so much for your continued support Dave! It’s always good to hear from you. And I hope you and your family have a wonderful Christmas and new year holiday!👍🤛🙏 Cheers mate 😎
